Coloring this worksheet is fun but cutting and pasting will motivate kids. This color, cutting and pasting activity is an example of a creative play. What does creative play mean? Its children being children. Being their fun and carefree self. Kids will have their creative freedom in doing this activity. This will help them develop their skills not only in the creative area.
Kids doing this activity will benefit them. Concentration in cutting and problem solving, in where to put the pieces together, will help them develop their creative process. Motor skills will also be developed in this activity as coloring and cutting will be needing hand and eye coordination. Activities like this can also be an emotional outlet for kids that made creative expression normal.
Being an emotional outlet for kid’s means that communication will also develop in this activity. Kids are also free to color the objects with the color that they desire. By practicing such freedom in this activity will improve their creativity and imagination.
In this worksheet an illustration of a fish, a turtle and aquarium decoration is shown in the right side of the paper. Those three images will be colored and cut and pasted in a fish bowl that’s located in the left side of the worksheet. As your kids/students are working on this worksheet be sure to assist them in using scissors. Let the kids enjoy this activity in a safe way.
